In a previous article, I discussed classifying conferences based on geography. It is no secret that more prominent conferences have a larger audience. When you have a larger audience, not everyone’s interests remain the same, nor is everyone’s expertise level.
To cater to this, conferences engage with the audience and present content in different ways and on several stages. The common term used for this is ‘track.’
A conference track is a stream of multiple talks in a sequence.
For example, a conference on Talent Hunting or Recruitment may have a track on writing job descriptions and another track on interview techniques.
The number of tracks in a conference is decided based on several factors, such as the number of audience, speakers, facilities at the venue, and the breadth of the conference theme.
