As previous comment said, this article is missing the crucial service and that is of course EventBridge.

Given that this article is a recent one, EventBridge should’ve been taken into consideration. It gives so much flexibility when it comes to event filtering and routing.

Another missing piece is Kinesis Firehose. If you are talking about Kinesis Streams here then you must also talk about Firehose. Yes, it is near real-time but has its purpose and usecase when it comes to event streaming.
